Joy is a farmer’s daughter from the Scottish Borders with an honours degree in Agriculture, initial training in Garden Design at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and a Diploma (with distinction) in Garden Design through the Pickard School of Garden Design.

 

Joy is a professional who brings a high level of expertise to each project and is well-versed in working with other professionals including architects, interior designers and planning consultants. Working with carefully selected landscape contractors, suppliers of high quality materials and craftsmen allows us to leverage the knowledge of other experts to deliver high quality, bespoke gardens tailored to each individual client’s needs and budget. Plants are sourced from reputable, local nurseries as well as from specialist nurseries across the country.

 

Goose Green Design will work closely with you in order to translate your vision into a stunning end result: a beautiful yet functional garden, appropriate to the site and conditions and which will endure season upon season and year upon year.

 

Based in East Lothian most clients are in the Lothians, Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders, with others further afield in Scotland, and as far away as the Channel Islands and Ireland.
